Intelligence Bureau ACIO Syllabus is of Two Phases 1. Written Examination and 2. Interview.
I. Written Examination: Written Examination will consist of Tier I Exam for 100 marks and Tier II Exam for 50 marks. This is consisting of 2 papers as follows…….
a. Tier-I Exam: 100 Objective type MCQs, divided into 5 parts containing 20 questions of 1 mark each on:
1. Current Affairs
2. General Studies
3. Numerical aptitude
4. Reasoning/logical aptitude
5. English
[Negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer.]
b. Tier-II Exam: Descriptive type paper of 50 marks: Essay (30 marks) & English comprehension & précis writing (20 marks).
II. Interview: Interview will consist of 100 marks.
Note: Candidates appearing in interviews may be subject to Psychometric/Aptitude test which will be a part of interview.
