Intern - Learning and Development & Employee Engagement

Role & responsibilities 1. Training Program Content Creation:
  • Develop engaging and informative training materials, including presentations, handouts, and multimedia content.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Maintain a repository of training materials for future reference and updates.
2. Nomination Management and Communication:
  • Draft and distribute email invitations and announcements for upcoming training programs.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely nominations for training sessions.
  • Follow up with participants to confirm attendance and manage any logistical requirements.
3. Feedback Data Collection and Analysis:
  • Design feedback surveys to gather participant insights on training effectiveness and satisfaction.
  • Collect, organize, and analyse feedback data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing key findings and actionable recommendations.
4. Learning and Development Data Analysis:
  • Conduct data analysis on past training records to identify training needs and preferences among employees.
  • Utilize data insights to optimize training program offerings and delivery methods.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to align learning initiatives with organizational goals and performance objectives.
5. Marketing Collateral Creation:
  • Design visually appealing marketing collateral, including posters, flyers, and digital banners, to promote training programs and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment across all communication channels.
6. Employee Engagement Support:
  • Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities, such as team-building events, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives.
  • Send out regular reminders and updates to employees regarding upcoming engagement activities and opportunities for involvement.
Preferred candidate profile
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with design software tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Detail-oriented approach to tasks, with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, able to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • A genuine interest in learning and development practices, employee engagement strategies, and organizational behaviour.
